8861 Nottawasaga 15/16 Sdrd., Clearview Township, ON
Access by taking Mill Town Rd, Singhampton. Parking on south side of road.
The Blue Mountains Bruce Trail Club is combining Bruce Trail Day with our popular Annual Music Hike.
Join us for this fun-filled free event as you explore the Bruce Trail while listening to live music stations along the trail. Musicians will include flutists, horn players, an organist, a bagpiper, drummers, vocalists, and guitarists. They will be placed at the trailhead and along the trail to create a unique hiking experience in a roughly 3km self-guided loop winding through mature hardwood bush.
For a shorter hike, simply stop at any time, and return back on the footpath you came on. The main trail to the Nottawasaga Bluff Lookout and Freedom Rock is accessible. All other trails are not considered accessible due to inclines and uneven surfaces.
Designed to cater to all age groups this event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The first round of musicians will play from 11:00 AM to noon, and the second round will play from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A guided hike to the Keyhole Pass will start at noon. At the trailhead, we have planned two corn hole games and a pinwheel for kids to win exciting prizes, as well as BTC merchandise for sale.
Join us to explore, enjoy and learn more about the fantastic variety of life along the Niagara Escarpment, our year-round hiking programs, volunteer opportunities, and what we do to preserve a ribbon of wilderness in southern Ontario from Niagara to Tobermory.
